Trackstar Simulators Limited ("Trackstar", "we", "us") provides racing simulator hire for events in Auckland, New Zealand. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

We collect information you give us when you enquire or book, including through our website, email, phone, and lead forms on Facebook and Instagram. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and details about your event.

We also collect limited information automatically when you visit our website, such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device and browser type, using cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange demos and bookings, deliver our services, send invoices, and keep in touch about your event. We may occasionally contact past enquirers and customers about our services; you can ask us to stop at any time.

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising and analytics

Our website uses the Meta Pixel and similar tools. These use cookies to help us understand how visitors use our site, measure how well our advertising works, and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited our site. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host (Squarespace), email, accounting and payment providers, and Meta for advertising. Some of these providers store information outside New Zealand. We only share what they need to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where required by law.

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to protect it from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
