WEST Auckland BASED, SIM Racing mad

Trackstar Simulators is a locally owned racing simulator hire company. We take a fleet of six professional rigs to events right across Auckland, and we run every one of them ourselves.

Our story

FROM THE LIVING ROOM TO THE WORKSHOP

What started as a hobby in a living room has grown into an unhealthy obsession. Somehow, one rig and a PS4 in the lounge has multiplied into six full racing simulators with custom-built chassis and neon light strips.

Every rig has been pulled apart and rebuilt more times than we'd like to admit, all chasing the same thing: the moment someone who's never raced before climbs out grinning and gets straight back in the queue.

What we care about is that first-timers have as much fun as the petrolheads / that setup is done before the first guest arrives / that it feels like a real race / that people leave our events feeling like they’ve got a lot more that what they asked for. That's what you get when you book us.

  • A racing simulator setup with a curved monitor displaying the words 'TRACK STAR' and a steering wheel, sitting on a desk with red LED lighting underneath. There is a black gaming chair in front of the setup, and a white wall and balcony with outdoor furniture in the background.
  • A racing simulator setup with a black racing seat, three monitors, a steering wheel, and pedals on a wooden floor. The monitors display a logo and colorful background, and there is a large mirror on the wall behind the setup.
  • A room with black walls and ceiling, equipped with a racing simulator setup including a racing seat, steering wheel, pedals, and three computer monitors displaying software. The room has specialized soundproofing panels on the walls and a yellow pendant light and fluorescent ceiling lights.
  • A group of people are gathered in a room, playing racing simulation games on multiple screens with steering wheels and pedals. The room has a low ceiling, beige walls, and ceiling-mounted air conditioning units.
  • A person sitting in a racing simulator setup with a steering wheel and pedal controls. The screen shows a virtual race track with a car on the road. Above the screen, a digital leaderboard displays race times, and a large digital clock shows 1:23.
  • A person working in a home office with computer equipment, a large monitor on the wall, a 3D printer, a black dog, and various office supplies. The room has a dark floor with red LED lighting around a 3D printer and a window showing the outdoors.
  • A room set up with multiple gaming chairs, several computer monitors, a TV on the wall, and gaming accessories. There is a couch with a small guitar and gaming controller on it. The room has a wooden floor, a rug, and a window with blinds.
  • An arcade or gaming room with multiple computer stations, red lighting, a wall with a logo reading 'Ng drums, New Zealand, Timber, Custom, Made Drums', and a television showing a racing game.
  • A room with moving computer monitors, a chair, parts and tools scattered on the floor, and a partially assembled computer desk frame.
  • A workshop with a row of racing simulator chairs, each equipped with a steering wheel and pedals, facing a row of computer monitors displaying the 'Trackstar' logo. The background features woodworking tools, shelves, and a large wall logo for 'Kdrums' with various wooden drum parts and equipment.
